Well.... this wallie took me about 5 or 6 hours to make but it took 8 hours to think what to do with it.....

There wasn't much done to the scan.... most of the effects are in the bg
For the scan, I blurred it a bit and used burn tool here and there to emphasize the shadowing..... and the color
For the background.... I think I first of all... used smart blurr and something else..... I don't remember
^_^'
Then I think I used neon glow on the copy and changed the layer property or something
Then I went to this tutorial site and learned how to use abstract and applied the abstract on the BG.... then I found another abstract which looked like fog and I used it and lowered the oppacity....
O, I forgot.... I also for the scan, I added the purple glowing thing on the sword... I think it was some kind of vortex effect

... Its beautiful.. but the blurry effect kinda seems rather distracting... i mean it feels much more comfortable looking at the background then the character, making it seems as if the background is the main thing to the wallie and the character the side... that withstanding.. its an excellent piece.. thanks for sharing!

Nice concept of this wallpaper :D No wonder it took you 8 hours to thk lol
But the fonting of the text looks kinda weird ^_^'
and some of the abstract in the bg just too much (the small lil dots)It was good overall :)
