ah taking a little break from my simple vector stuff and made this other still very simplistic wall. this wall was made almost exactly like my old "Desperate Angel" wall in that all i did was redraw the image to take up the wall space and apply effects right on top of it. i redrew a large portion of it including the whole right wall which was covered in text. though, in the final product one really cant see this, sense i put alot of fog and then applied heavy lighting which literally darkened most of the wall. i did this becuase like my other wall, i wanted to get some really good contrast with low key lighting almost to creat that film noir look. the type is (doubt anyone would notice) parodied off of an apocalyptica cd i have, "the best of" to be specific and in case anyone was wondering, who the hell this girl is, from what i hear it is a character that didnt actually make it into tsukihime.

Top-notch wallpaper. The lighting and fog really help to convey the spooky atmosphere.

Really simple BUT beautiful. I think I willl make good use of this wallpaper, especially in the moody days. That mist at her feet is honetly a mesterpiece. Probably the mist in itself was not so hard to make but it looks really great. A definite favorite

Awesome wall! I like its simplicity and the layout of it. The fog is a really nice effect and doesn't look out of place or artificial full size or in the thumbnail. Cool scan and amazing lighting. Thanks for sharing =]

As so many others have said, this wallpaper is simple, and that works so very well here. This scan doesn't need anything fancy for the background; just the darkness of an alley, which is beautifully replicated here. Great work on this.

i like the subtle feel it gives... ryogi, huh? i guess she's suppose to be like shiki's little sister or something? anyways, i also like the texting on this one too. great job.

  23. Noctum Feb 04, 2005

The atmosphere is awesomely cold and dark.
    Excellent work once again. :)

  24. darkfighter Feb 07, 2005

nice picture there but this shiki is from 'Kara No Kyoukai' not 'Shingetsutan Tsukihime'.
