I just finished this wall! I've loved so much this picture when I've seen it that I immediately started to work.
I wanted the whole image, without cutting anything, so I had to re-draw Tsuruya's hair and a piece of the scenario. But it has been a joke compared to the remake of the sky @____@
It has been the hardest part, it took more time of all xD
The effect are simple, but I wanted them like that (I was interested in the picture the most). Weeeeeel, how it is?

Matta ne, minna-san!

p.s. I know the scan is a little grainy, but I just wanted to make that effect ;)

Don't know why, but this seems interesting. I remember the scan of it was nice, but I like how your wallpaper looks liks a CD cover of a front. :)

Nice work! Atmospheric, and kinda moody. I like the rustic colours, and the subtle touches of scored music & text brushes.

Very nice. :) The overall feeling of the wall with the sunset looks awesome. I think that the background would be better without the muscial notes in the backgorund...but there's nothing wrong with it, I guess. Excellect job anyway. :D

I think that it can be improved if you had be clean the original scan, because i can see lines in the sky, coming of the original scan. But the idea and wallpaper are very nice really :D

You possess the art of displaying Superb Visualization technique of what you need !

I love your displacement and Color channels best. What really blows me away, was your Concept, blending and Theme. This, i believe, are your true strengths. Congrats. This is one of the few Haruhi Walls i deem, Divine. ^^

  19. norine07 Mar 25, 2007

  21. DarkPriestessKikyo06 Mar 25, 2007

Very cool wall! Something right off an album cover! (all it needs are the signitures of the band - I'm pretty sure that there is already a HUGE fan following!) Great job! Thanks for sharing! :)

  22. aplastictree Mar 26, 2007

This scan is just getting lovin', isn't it?

I know grainy scan = part of the effect, but cleaner is always better for starts; adding graininess later vs. having a grainy scan is two very different things. Dunno. Just me rambling off random thoughts~

Two out of the six top slots are devoted to this scan. Hmm; says something 'bout it XD Any other wallers of it will have a lot to live up to ;-; [including myself]

  23. Marluxia Mar 26, 2007

Simply beautiful. I love that scan. <3

  24. devilcatz Mar 26, 2007

    keep up the good work!
