I had the idea of make a wallpaper of a geisha like the tapestry in the anime "tenpo ibun ayakashi ayashi"
(the tapestry is a sort of a door to an other world)

cool, an infusion idea of anime and traditional tapestry gives me the thought of making it soon :) ^_^' never before i've seen any like that. must credit you :)
the way her kimono blends with the background is really mystical. i like the smoky fire you add there. plus, the signature at the end right mixes with the carp fish is interesting too.
one thing that i'm not used to is her lips which is painted in classic way. you really did a make up on her too! XD that's great! to me, her usual lips is alright and nice already ^_^'great work, keep it up :D

Well... yeah it's good but the color of the scan is too similar to the Bg so it's hard to distinguish....
Bg is rather simple but nice work! -
