It's never good to have a dead girl floating face-up in your koi pond.
I'm pretty sure the blood is dripping from the sword of whoever killed her, who is standing on a little bridge or something.
Y'know, Corel Photo-Paint has a really neat water drop brush that makes them shiny, gradiated, 3D, and transparent all at once. I planned to use it. Unfortunatly, Corel did not want to maintain the quality I wanted. Blurry=bad. Grrr.
I made the water myself. Water may look easy but it was tricky. Maybe I'm a tard, but it took me a lot of work to make this water look like actual water. I've spent about 7 hours on this wall.
I did have to find a pic of koi online for the project and filter them. I'm not sure I could make koi from scratch.

This is very cool. The water looks great and I love the idea. Some of the blood looks a bit too blobby though.
Other than that, nicely done! -
mmm, i dunno about how the blood splots fade into the water (blurry = bad there too) but other than that, eerie and very cool.

Very good job on the water. I know it's very tricky, since it's transparent. I tried colouring glass in the window this one time and totally just ended up with some opaque blue stuff in the end XD Ended up looking more like a mirror than anything. I think you have great skill in the background and I really love the floating hair ^^
