Artist Comment
This is a picture of a roleplaying character that I created in the Naruto universe. Her name is Inuzuka dEx(Kiba's cousin) and the dog is called Shadow. Here we see her in a common Inuzuka fighting stance where she is ready to pounce. Shadow is running up behind her to offer some help. She's wearing a hooded sweatshirt that is doubled with a grey hood and ends to the sleeves and then the rest if black. She is wearing comfortable jean like pants and her shoes are visible, but she'd be inclined to wear comfortable black boots. This is one of the first times I made an honest effort at shading and this is my first halfway realistic looking dog. Any feedback would be appreciated. I would love to refine these characters more to be able to draw them more easily and so that they look better, while keeping my own style.
