SO STOP COMPLAINING THAT THIS WALL DOESN'T FIT YOUR MONITOR OKAY?
I just thought this
scan was interesting. Probably the sun-in-glory design drew me in. Also, the
lack of characters. I've been getting a kick from walls with very small (or in
this case non-existant) character art lately. Anyway, instead of being a
white-on-white stone relief I was going to make it more of a stained glass type
of image, but after some wacky experimentation, it ended up like this. More of
an gilded illuminated manuscript, partially due to overusage of texturing, and
partially because I thought the light-colored outlines gave it a rather
different feel than the normal dark outlines.
One of my rare text-free walls, because the text just didn't feel like it would
mesh well enough.
Finally, while it is a good idea to pull out one's manga to get references for
coloring in each of the planets, it is not a good idea to start flipping through
the manga, especially as the manga itself is presented in black-and-white and in
no way helps you realize that Autozam is green and Chizeda is red, and instead
makes you loose several hours as you reread half of the story.

lol @ manga story. Happens to me and my ~150 volumes pretty often
the wallpaper looks very good, i like the composition and the clouds look great.
you did a good job on this one, keep it up
oh my gosh!
what a wonderful piece of art!
i never thought cephiro could ever look that magnificent!
great job!
that's just hundred times better compare to the original black&white

i dont like gold, it blinds me xD humm but what a stylist wall, nice use of texture and great composition too
no chara...so original ^o^
Wonderful vectoring and I love the colors. No text is a good idea, as I find it would make the wallpaper too busy.
I lov character-less wallpapers =D
Great job!
hahaha. amazingly done to look like a... wall mural! must've taken forever.
That's an interesting wall. I don't quite get the random things placed in front of the sun, but I'm assuming that they're there because they're indicative of something on the show - so I won't ask. Though that last sentence was sort of, by the round about way of things, asking. lol
I really like the coloring of the wall and the stained glass-esque outlines. The colors are reminiscent of old world stuff to me, and without the planets etc. just even having the sun and the clouds would make a really nice wall too. Simple is good, and not having text suits it. Good decision on that. Nice work!
Fantastic vector as always! The colors are nice and pleasantly bright.
The textures look good too. Everything looks great.
Sweet! I love the colors and details the most! ^^
The composition is very well laid out. You have a good eye for the central composition. The colors are great and of course having the land of cephiro as a background is priceless! Thank you for doing this. The vectoring turned out wonderful and not adding text, I think allowed the image to speak for itself. Thanks!
Gorgeous. The sunburst and clouds combine for a very stunning image. The color scheme is...almost "divine" in nature. Glorious, but soft, not blinding. It's a really neat look. I love the golden lining around the clouds, and greatly appreciate the lack of leaves and birds from the scan. Amazing piece of work you've got here. Thanks for uploading it for the rest of us to stare at in awe.
