been a long time since i've read the divine comedy, and i still loove it so much <3
this description is gonna be kinda quick because i hafta get to work x_x
but basically, that quote from the divine comedy pushed most of this wall into being.
i love devil may cry. i never had the time to finish 3, but i loved what i played of it. and vergil is badass.
that scan just screamed "bring it on" to me, so a battle was what i went for. the background is a combo of a
stock photo and me painting and drawing my ass off. as were the evil lil monster guys.
many screenshots, and many drawings from scratch went into this.
i wanna thank my army a ton for their criticism and support and awesome ideas.
and when shadow_dude uploads his wall to AP i have to link to it, because his was just awesome.
ironicly, we used the same scan.

humm....just attractive at the first sight at thumb >_<, the color, contrast, the light and everything combine each other so well >.<, though the scan looks like drawing bring out a bit "real" of the wall but guess it's ur decision to make it like "pen drawing" >_<.

WOW! You are a awesome waller! Aww, ya did not finish DMC 3? Thats too bad. Vergil is the last boss, and he is NOT easy! Near impossible in Dante must die mode if your using swordmaster style with no vital stars. The game was so fun to play. Anyways, nice wall overall.

so....very cool design, great colors, there's not perfect atmosphere than this one for the scan you used, you seem to manage really good the lights effects, thing that helps to stand out the character and the frase of the divine comedy suits and gives a authentic feeling to the whole wall.....even if when I first saw it full size the scan looks kind of different in relation to the BG.....or maybe it was on purpose ....anyway is a good/deep/interesting looking wallpaper.

OMG. this wall's awesome. your lighting work is brilliant! it's absolutely fabulous how everything is in the same sketchy style. You did well with the blur and perspective work as well. it's almost freaky, but it's really doing its job. ^^ maybe the scan quality could be better around the hair, but it still looks great. awesome wp.

Very nice. Despite his particularly dark exterior, the wisps of light settling on him cuts out the dark feel about the entire setting. He really shines out in a way thanks to these elements. Nice work
