Gyaa~! My first wallie ever.. o.o .. It's a rather silmple one really.. I got the scan from here. I didn't intend to make a wallpaper really, never tried to make one before, and I just recieved photoshop from my friend yesterday, and played with it the wole night.. *blames the coffee* . It was supposed to be for a banner, but apparently fate had other things in mind.. >.> ...
Okay.. The scan was already of very good quality and I didn't have to do much to it, I decided not to extract it because I liked the rather nightish feel of the scan.. I started with cleaning out the line down the middle and the text *hugs the cloning and healing tools* and then clening up the scan .. At this point I realised that it wouldn't take much more to turn the scan into a wallpaper and I had already fallen in love with the cloning tool anyway, so I extended it more to the left, added in the cloud thingys at the bottom left and stuck in a blue moon, stars and text..
*hugs the wallie.. ^^..* It may not be great, but i'm satisfied with it for a first try...

I like it ^_^ The scan is nice, but can I assume that the town was also part of the scan? Because the quality there is alot higher than the left side of the wall. The clouds look poorly done, and the moon is too plain. It's not hard to find a tutorial to make a decent moon.

wow! nice wall. i agree about the wierd moon. lol sorry...it looks a little too solid and out of place. you should try softening the edges with the soft round brush eraser. you should join nugeneration. it would be perfect for you since you just started! AND even better, theyre having a contest that uses the scan you used! lol heres the URL to the group if you want

Okay okay... I'm here... I'm not good at critic so umm I like the lamp posts... The moon? I think it's fine either way... where do you think the quote "Once in the blue moon" came from? Overall, it's an excelent job for the first wallie... And... that's all
