yeah i think im in a walling frenzy @_@ don't worry it'll pass >xD maybe after this xD

anyway yeah i've been a fan of takamichi from the first time i saw his artwork, they are the <3
the scans ive downloaded from somewhere were a bit grainy. So i thought to myself, retrace it tate and make it look as close as possible to the original >xD i fairly succeeded and i was so dang proud of myself i even patted myself on the back, no not really..but twas funny to imagine >.> so yeah...

since the original is in painting style, it's logical i should make the BG look painting-ish so i tried painting again...after ummm 8 months since my last i think ;-; xD

i looked at takamichi's works and tried to do the BG as close as possible to his style

i vectored then cged this scan ===> I'M THE SCAN (takamichi rules) it became this ===> yes click me!

i did one with texture maybe some will like it better 1280 x 960 ==> click

and maybe some would like a 1280 x 1024
1280 x 1024 no texture ==> click
1280 x 1024 w/ texture ==> click

thanks to gideon for her last minute help :D

    I like the texture free version a lot more, it's just simple and easier for me to enjoy. I think the trees look kind of sloppy on a closer look, and the clouds are nothing exceptional... BUT, this is still a great wallpaper that stays true to the original artists' idea. Nice job Taters.

    I thought the girl on the left was a boy at first D:

    just like brom-kun, i thought the person on the left was a boy ;d

    tate-san is really awesome at vectoring, it's clean and very smooth~
    i would say nice perspective and nice concept for this wall ^-^

    I won't write my comment over again but I thought the Takamichi girls needed some more love on mt...so yeah for Takamichi! Yeah for takamichi wall!

    (I also thought that was a boy! :P )
    What a lovely wallie! You did a great job vectoring it and creating this background~ Though the background is a bit simple, the characters fit in very well~
    Thank you for sharing! ^_^

    mhmm i think the bg needs some outlines as well.. now it looks a bit too different than the scan.. but nevertheless great work on the bg.. >__<

    Ooo...it looks so realistic! It reminds me so much of summer and when I was in China, because China looks like the wall you shown. I love the bright and happy colors! Makes me feel so happy! Keep it up, tAtEkAnE! ^_^

    Very refreshing & relaxing wall, Tate-chan. And awsome vectoring as usuall. I like the one without the texture more. It looks more enjoyfull, while the one with the texture, somehow the texture's really annoying. Hey, this wall actually doesn't look like a vectoed wall! It looks more like a painted wall! But still, awsome job, Tate-chan! I'll definaetly add this to my favs! Keep up the awsome work!

    very nice and clean as usual tate-san
    the wall w/o the texture looks better then the one with it...
    not sure why but just my option. :D
    nice work as always bubby. :)
    gives you a Grade AA+ for a great happy clean looking wall.

    noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    I was about to submit my takamichi wall D:
    I hate you tate T_T

    oh wells, the vector/CGed scan looks really good, and umnn. I'd say the bg could need a bit more detsiling and work but overall this is a really cute piece. Lovely colors and perspective

    Simple and colorful, the trees could have some more detail or more shades of green. The whole emotion of the wall is beautifully done togehter and all in all the textless version is much better suited for this. Awesome job! :P

    very pretty though it's quite simple ^_^ the soft patter of the background makes it look like it's painted on old paper. you made great job with the scan, it looks wonderful. like the bright summery looking sky and the different green tones of trees :) also the road and clouds are very nice, the light colour of them brings nicely lightness. good job and thankies for sharing !

    I know that this is an older post, but I couldn't get out of my mind something in your description that bothered me! You said, "Since the original is done in watercolor..." That says alot for Takamichi
