Your extraction work really is awesome and I like the bright effects around her. My only problem is the butterflies.
Maybe if you change the color they would look less real. Other than that, nicely done!

damn... i spent soooooo much time on this one!
tried lots of effects on this one! and i'm starting to get the hand of photoshop now, i can find my way better now, so that's a good thing :)
and i'm also getting used to layers! 11 for this one, believe it or not! whew! XD
anyhow, i tried to do this one using the least blue possible... Belldandy wallpapers usually always have blue in them... i wanted to change from usual ;)
oh and why 'Past' as a title? hehe... well because Belldandy is the norn of present, she's caught between past and
future... so i thought some kind of 'hole' (here it's stairs going down down down) would be pretty representative of the
past... and we can't see the future since it's in front of us...
and i had the butterfly idea while thinking of Bleach... butterflies are dead souls gone to soul society.
the sparkles? well it was to try to amphasise her heavenly aura... dunno if it worked out too great though... it was
hard ^_^'
well... hope you all like it!

changed the sparkles and put a little less of it ^_^' (a little too much) and also added some orange texture so the font
fits better with the wallpaper... hope that worked.

Ooo, I love the spiraling stair case! I think the butterflies look alright even if they are more realistic because they give the wall a nice contrast. And the symbolism behind this wall is really nifty ^-^

its a wonderful scan of Belldandy i'll give you that :D
The idea is there as well, the sparkles i dunno, it looks as though they have a rainbow colour through them and then they are just put over the colour so you see them as the colour on diff areas (did that make sense? ^^;;)
i love the font used as well, the butterflies are nice but it doesnt really work for me. Ill give you credit from moving away from the norm but maybe a few changes here and there be good too
Also i love how you did it in 1280x1024, more people should do so and at a high res too :D
its a good wallpaper but needs a few changes, ill get back to you on what later ^^
