I came across a tutorial on how to make those swirly light bursts thingy you see in the background, and decided to experiment with it. It looked pretty neat when I was done so I went on an image hunt to complete the wallpaper. After browsing through 80+ pages of PNGs at Aethereality, I chose Belldandy, because she was the only image that stood tall on both her feet.
But it still looked too plain with the black background and blue swirls. I tried adding a series of brushes but ended up erasing everything except two sets, and slapped on a this weird shaped color gradient that I had made way too long ago to remember. To my own surprise, it turned out pretty well. So there you have it, my latest attempt at a wallpaper.

I've seen a few wallpapers where the artist is first learning to do swirly light. The most frequent problem I saw was that they let the swirly light go all the way to the bottom of the wallpaper, so it no longer looks like part of the wallpaper. But you send them to a pool of light beneath Bell's feet. Just for that alone, great job!
