Hi there, long time since the last time I submitted something. Well this was made with my sister, catyeye, who made the sketch and painted part of it. I painted the parts that she didn't, like the dress. Well, we were inspired in my poem "Sorry is not enough". Hope you like it as much as we do, and i am waiting for comments.... Please! I like how in this one there is much contrast with the colored pencils and gray. I can't tell which one I like the most :D -

i think the coloring is good, but pay attention to the hands. yes, hands (i know it's hard). keep practicing, and you should be good in no time.
let me tell you a secret on using color pencils.
1. use good quality ones... staedtler is good enough.
2. color softly, until you find the shade you want. do it roughly and it will just get messed up.
3. place a piece of paper below your hand while coloring, it'll keep your artwork clean.well, for me, when i finish the line art, i traced the picture on another piece of paper using color pencils(yes, no more pencil). if you want to line it out, do it with the color pencils.

hi melissa-clyne, wow thats really nice drawing, when i first saw the drawing i noticed that drawing was bit diffrent from your usual style until i read your description. anyway i like to say that cateye did very nice job with character design and melissa you did very good job with coloring. i really like how you colored her hair. it has nice texture and right level of shading. grea job both of you ^^
