I've only seen a few episodes of Basilisk, I like it! Yashamaru would have to be my fav. so far, as as a request from a friend...or maybe it was my own need >_< I made the man a wallpaper. Its a bit on the dark side but, to me it would just seem wrong bright and cheerfull looking. XP Alrighty! to all those 5 or 6 people Ive actually come across that have seen Basilisk or read its beautiful manga, this is for you! ^^

it's right that this wall is very dark but it fits perfectly the atmosphere of the anime

I love the effects you did on the skin...It really added to the feel of your image but I would suggest that you added a little more details on the black space. I do adore simplicity but the dark space makes it look a little 'lacking'. I hope you make another basilisk wall...the art's extraordinary and you do justice in it with your walling XD

I think you did a good job with this wallie, looks great!
The face is just awesome! I'm loving the way it. The designs and colours you used are really cool! It seems as if one of the eyes was actually "staring at you"... if you know what I mean ^_^'
The font you used for the text is also nice, and it gives some sort of emphasis to that part of the wallie. I'm not su sure about the shinny glow in the word "Yashamaru", but oh well that's just a thought...
Only one thing... There's one corner that is a bit too empty for my taste, as pyromaniac-kitty said, may be some small details in the dark part would help.
Anyway, I love the wallie! Nice job! :D

it looks abit too plain for the whole wallie... like most had said, you should add some things on the empty space to enhance the wallie more...

Very Awesome! Has any one seen the movie made after the Manga and Amine? Well look out for it, it's called 'Shinobi' It follows the story somewhat >.< But Yashamaru is hot in it as well as Yakushiji >.<
