Artist Comment
This is an idea I've had for a while... the Naruto wallpaper, in which I portrayed Sasuke's schizo-ness, really got me hooked on trying to show to two sides that ultimately lies in everyone (my own opinion). Good and evil, shy and outgoing, and in Ichigo's case, aimless and fateful. I was going for the ambitions/fate perspective; Ichigo seeming to lack direction and Ichigami comes across as inspired and determined.
Also, I realize the words have an odd placement so just to let ya know, they should be read as Everything is as it... and the separate words on the top and bottom are made to seem like a choice... Everything is as it should be or Everything is as it falls apart.

Although a very simple wall, it is so visually interesting that one could look at it for hours. The stark contrast is so strong that you can't help but stare at the figures and trying to imagine all the details that are hidden. The revealing of Ichigo's arm was a nice touch. Letting us see a small glimpse entices the viewer to further translate what we cannot see. The black arch with the texture underneith looks like a terran world and we are being shown an underworld of sorts. The texture is simply marvelous and well executed.
There is ONE aspect that I think could be worked on and that is the type just below the top figure saying, "everything is art" I think you could have chosen something else for the typeface although your direction of the type treatment was good. Since you used a san serif with no stroke variations, it seems boring and pales in comparison with the rest of this awsome wall.
This style is really attractive to me and I'd love to see more of your "abunge"....haha. Great job!

ahh, i've noticed that you also made the sasuke one with the blue/black opposite sides.. his normal/curse seal. awesome wall. I love these kind of walls. very conflicting haha.. nice one..

to me, this wallpaper is fairly amazing. It incorporates Ichigo's several aspects as well as tying together two phrases in a delightful interplay.. =x I like it a lot, and I'm not one to make comments longer than 5 words mostly.. lol

At first I was only intrigued at the monochromatic use of colorations..but looking at it closely.... O_O

I really like the horizontal design...because most walls using the horizontal design...fails miserably (IMO only though >.<) but yours is really well done!
