Uhm ther eis ONE thing really worng with this wallapaoper- You didn't clean the scan. Still the rest is not bad, so I'll not delete.
Get a cleaning tutorial, clean that scan and edit the submission, and it will be much better. You can find one at www.imanimetions.net
the background looks really nice, must've took a while to do it. and yeah, you might want to clean the image a little.

This is good... and I agree that.. the scan needs to be more cleaned... I still see some clear white things :s esspecially the hair.. x.x and it's a bit blurry but no worries ^^ i like this wall ^^

Pretty cool effect in the background. I'm glad you didn't do the cliche effect where the person just enlarged the image and lowered the opacity. I like how you blended it in. I like the mosaic effect too!
