Wow - she looks so *incredibly* sad. Devastated, almost. I don't know the series, so I don't know the circumstances around her.
If you were going for capturing "crushed" - you did it.

The line work is original, and good. The faded out and in coloring gives it a lot of style. And the sakura flowers are a great addition. I really like the expression too, you captured the mood and fell quite well. Always excellent. ^^

Wah...nice different style..though the eyes look like it's so swollen, it almost drop!!...other than that...it's a nice soft feeling or rather sad feeling...but clean. great one..

The hair is really the strong point here, as well as the mood the coloring gives off. :) I absolutely love it. Your own distinct style really shows in this piece because of the drastic change in Kenshin's illustration. A change which rocks, by the way. I'm hoping to see more! :D
