Saiyuki fans, the Barrel Of A Gun: Saiyuki Digital Artwork Collection returns and this time Cho Hakkai is in the lead!
Once more, using original artwork by the wonderfully talented Kazuya Minekura, the Barrel Of A Gun collection flourishes
in a spray of storms and bullet holes! The intensity of Hakkai's glare, the dissipation of his customary smile and
the angle of which he aims that pistol is nothing short of chilling.
This classically famous collection of pistol trotting illustrations were chosen primarily for their aesthetic beauty,
the fashion of which Minekura has once again exceeded in producing free from stylistic artworks explicit in physical
structure and muscular definition. The set of original artworks can be perceived as a both a sensuous and violent
elaboration of masculinity.
This Collection's focus is a fusion of erotism and girt with faint slivers of elegance. All original artworks were personally scanned from my Minekura art book collection. This artwork's construction features moderate hand painted CG SFX for Hakkai's hair and eyes, multi-layered brush work and image masking.
