Heheh nice work Electra, though she needs more bulk in the hair part of her head because its like its flat but all togehter fanarts are always the original of the whole art community and this one is good. Keep it up ! ^_^

Phew...
this one took me alot of time...well two days :P I was really surprised by Air. How the story was complicated and
simple....and in a short 12 episodes, I really care for the characters...Kanna I thought she was so tragic and sweet, so
I made a fanart of her (I made Misuzu as well)
I tried to stay as true to the style of the anime that I could, espicially with the eyes. The shadows we're
freehanded by me, otherwise they looked too straight....But I'm still learning :P
Again with the sky backround, but it's the whole theme of Air, so it fits :D

Air is a really sad anime! I thought it was pretty complicated too LOL
But great drawing of Kanna though I agree with OracleAngel that the top of her head needs more bulk. Great colouring! Her eyes are pretty and the bells are really cool!

Well, maybe what OA said is true... her head is usually a bit off proportion (that what makes Key's artwork distinctive from the rest lol), maybe a bit bigger, flatter head, and bigger eyes? :)
But all in all, I'm very much impressed by the coloring technique.. it's very professional looking,... and I can guess that you spent a lot of time making this one. AIR was one phenomenal anime for me as well.
Great job, as usual!! :) when will you teach me how to draw? :P -

Been awhile since we've seen any drawings from you. I think some of the shadowing could use a bit more work but what I really like about this is the fullness of Kana's hair. It really makes her standout. The top part of her head where her hair should be visible seems to be missing o_O
But aside from that this is quality work as always! -

Now that I'm just tallying votes for the Air contest, I'm going to go around and comment on everyone's entries. ^^
Nice job with Kanna~ She's easily identified, since you were very true to the details of how she appears in the anime. And I think the added 'shines' in her hair really contributed a lot to the drawing. I like the background. :)
I don't know how to do this in computer programs, but I'm guessing it's still difficult to produce something like this. Maybe if you only added a tad bit of shape above her bangs, her head might've looked more accurate?
