simple but effective texture work. the fade away effect used very nicely I think.
maybe u could use more grunge brushes in this one but it is good like this also.

Had a dream about a photo been covered by dust and debris and a partial bit of the photo was stuck out and can be seen, when I was napping for a while and then suddenly decided to do this wall using a RahXephon scan from Anime Vision and created what you see was from my dream but I didn't actually see the photo fully just like been stuck out only. So I decided show a close up of it for a wallpaper.
The title Lost Memories was inspired while in the middle of walling. It came to me when I saw that the image was almost been covered up by the grunge textures and that it represents a part of our memories been lost and this wall creates that sense.
The colours have no connection to my dream, it's just something to make it old and faded from existence. It's a good colour effect for me to this wall.

Very interesting story involved with this wallie. ^_^ It does remind me of old photos or memories that you can't quite see clearly in your mind's eye. I like how the grungey works to add on to the feel and look. Really awesome work~
