Hi people! 3 wallies in a week!!! I'm getting obsessed with them again x_x

This wallie is very special to me, as this is the first time I'm using one of my fan-arts for it. :) I put a lot of effort on it, though I admit I didn't paint it very well ^_^U However, that filter covered many things XD

I just love fireflies... I have an obsession with them. I had been waiting for a long time to make a wall with those pretty insects, coz I didn't want them to look bad coz of my poor work u_u

In my opinion, the girl is so dark... I think I'll change it later.

About her, she's me :) . I don't own that dress but I'd like to...
I used 15 layers and brushes are from http://www.aethereality.net and other sites.

Hope you like it!!!!

Using the Inner Glow blending mode was not the best way to go when trying to establish the darker side of the scan; it would've been a lot better to adjust the darkness or even brightness with the Dodge and Burn tools. The extraction could also use some improvement; look around the hair because there are some jagged lines there. In addition, I recommend using the scan cleaning method I came up with; duplicate the scan layer twice, keeping the original scan layer just in case you make a mistake, and on the second duplicate layer (copy 2), use a Gaussian Blur filter at radius 0.5, and on the first duplicated layer (copy 1 or the layer that should be on top), set the blending mode to Soft Light and use a Smart Blur filter of radius 9.0, threshold of 25.0, and medium or high quality. Make sure the layer with the blending mode of Soft Light is on top and the layer you used Gaussial Blur on is in the middle. I also think that the star stream is a little bit cluttered, and some more stars could be used for the rest of the sky. Keep up the work.

I love the text. For some reason, it seems to add a lot to the wall. Very good!
