A new try... let's see what people think of it. I'm not sure of my opinion yet.
I always loved this (http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/42041/) image of Fuu, so I decided
to wall it.. Thanks melonprodigy! I cleaned it with the eraser and the lasso tool of Photoshop. I used the magic wand on
my last wallpaper and it was not very well cleaned, so this time I worked really hard.
Made on Photoshop 7.
Images from MiniTokyo and personal archive (I have no idea where the background image came from, but I can assure you I
changed it A LOT).
Brushes by Miss M and Insomniac (I don't remember the address, if someone does, please refresh my memory).
Time: 3 and a half hours.

Nice work, the character could have been lightened slighty to blend in with the environment better.
The Levels function in Photoshop works well for that.And ive found when it comes to extraction for anime characters you cant beat the Pen tool, its a bit odd till you get used to it, but by looking at your work here i know youll be able to pick it up easily :)

I like it, Fabi! So cute! The background is beautiful, but I think Fuu isn't too blended with it (I have this problem to :sweat: ...). But it a very beautiful image!

a very nice wallpaper
the bg is very lovely
but some of the tree branches do not fit with the rest of the bg
it looks like is was cut off in unusal places

The background is very pretty. The scan is very clean, but I think you could have adjusted the color brightness a little to blend and fit in with the background. Then again, I cannot draw a stick figure if I try my hardest, so this may not be as meaningful to you as it could have been...
