The original image was Rukia with polka dot hair. It reminded me of the idea behind the ::wack:: art for Gankutsuou... so I traced it and inserted stripes. Changed Rukia's face too: thought the surprised expression from another scan worked better with the style. Other minor changes.
The text is from the scan: an example of Kubo Tite's original use of English.
