mmh.. firts.. 
don't remember the anime.. and i put it in the Vectors category..
however.. long time no post a wall. 
however.. for this wall I use my first vector.. mmh.. what's to say.. I've work
hard on this.. I found the ispiration looking a photo that I found on the net..
so I make the bg like the photo.. >< (the left part of the water is photo
stock..) layer by layer I make the sky and the rest.. >< the are 45/50
layer.. psd file was 45mb

thing to make the character fit in better, try using a median filter on the BG
to make it more chartoony, or play with softening it, then it will be ever more
effective
