forgot to mention when i submited my thrid eye wall but i just got back from my
spring break which i spent at my parent's home in stockton. i brought my comp
with me but since they have no internet, i decided to pump out a few walls in my
free time.
this first one is of no surprise, a "nana" wall. on this one, i just
did some texturing on a manga image i liked and treated the wall as if "the
black stones" were a real band, hence the text at the bottom right. when
making the wall, i treated it as if i was making a poster or something for a
real member of a band even though i have no idea what that would really look
like, i did what i would have done if it was real in a sense. anyways, comments
as always are appreciated.
abd btw, if you didnt get the idea, im completely obsessed with this manga right
now, its probably one of the better shoujo mangas i have seen in a while. haha
heck, before break started i picked up the "love for nana: only 1
tribute" music cd at my local kinokuniya for an overpriced 40 bucks. if
you havent heard of it, i highly recommend checking the manga out, same thing
goes for the cd actually as well.

this one doesnt have as much "poster" feel to it , looks too much like a popular textured wall, as usual. The composition is always as good, and I love the blues in the bottom corner. I think you overdid the texture a bit too much here, and I dont dig the nana <vocals> font

We definitely need to get together and talk NANA sometimes. I'm dying to see the movie, no matter how everyone was saying that they focus too much on Nana being a tough chick. The story never fails to intrigue me and the cd is good also. I kinda wished that Yazawa sensei only used female singers in it though. It's kinda weird imagining either Reira or Nana singing some of the songs in the album.

Very nice feel, it makes me think of a poster for a more conceptual kind of band. Or maybe even something in a CD booklet. The distortion on the image and the grunge effects are really effective, good job.

This surely looks like a Rock poster of some goth band and I loved this! Nana is very dramatic here, and therefore looking very pretty. This is a interesting wall, congrats!
