view my new wall/group advertisment!!! XD

i hadnt made a wall in a while so this is a new style i think is good. it originally started with a simple scene but then i started brushing over it and then it looked like a old photo! its supposed to be inside a dust storm and everything is messy even the clothes of the people. i thought that was interesting so it stayed like that ^^ i dont know why, but i always put a text with it but i tried to make it go with the wall and i blured the bottom text layer so it looks glowing. this is a wog scan from hyung tae kim but its not on mt, i think. this is from his website. i liked the scan cause it had this little flower in it too and its the only thing growing in a feild of dusty grass. i put these little swirly things around the flower to make it look like magic

about the advertisement... well this wall will be going into a section of my group called cross country canada where members can submit stuff that looks sort of like canadian scene. this scene was made to look like the prarie provinces. anyone can join this group and you don't have to be canadian!....well i tried ^^;;;; [MT-north] if anyone wants to join.

lol comments/advice and favs are always welcome

update: glowy text was removed altogether

Nicely done. Great effects and brushing. It's not my type but the grunge feel is pretty cool.

the bg is good, looks really dry
but there is a line going through the house and beside the girl
looks kinda off doesn't it ?
    the scan extraction is good
and why are they sitting on floating boxes??
theres floating boxes! or what ever they are >_>

  17. Ayamael Apr 04, 2005

i didn't know the Canadian prairies looked like a desert xd... nah, i'm kidding, i like the atmosphere of this one... i like the little house in the bg, how it appears so blurry too... yeah, the boxes to look a little off in this decor... but it doesn't really matter... anyways, great job!!

  21. LumX Apr 05, 2005

Nice job ;) The way you made this wall is very interesting ! Colors aren't lightened more than they should be and the characters are for sure excellent. The background is well done, I understand why it wasn't so easy to do ;)

By the way, why is there a vertical gray line on you wall ? Do you wish this effect ?

  22. chisana Apr 07, 2005
