The coloring was pulled off quite nicely although I'm not too fond of the purple on her hair. I love the texturing,
really gives the balcony a realistic feel. Overall this is mint stuff. definitely fav worthy :)

Whee chibikko's new wallpaper is bleached again xD I liked the cover of chapter 173 and so I decided to color it (well I colored half of it, because Renji's too difficult to color). See the original scan here. So it's NOT a vector. See the colored page without bg here.
The background was completely made in Photoshop and the clouds are also made by me, yay they look a bit better than the Kaworu-WP-ones, don't they? Since I'm totally in love with texture-wallpapers, the ones biriwilg, wuschel and tama-neko create, I added some textures. However I developed my own way, kinda.
[skip the following part, if you're already bored of annoying explanations]
And now try to read the title, yes Wijnruit's a difficult word and I have no idea if that's supposed to be
Engrish or whatever but a past chapter from Bleach was named 'Night of Wijnruit' (so's the volume 16). So
I transformed the content of this chapter into this wallpaper, however, this is the scene after the night of
Wijnruit.
Edit: I believe I need to mention that scene takes places in Seireitei in Soul Society, the bubble where the shinigami are living. Rukia's sitting on the bridge that leads to the prison.
Thanks to idate_morino for scanning the raw chapter, to harakiri (as always xD) for helping me out with the shading, and kstar for telling me what I did wrongly with coloring xD (just kidding). Everything looks so neat and I love the scene.. It looks like a city in a desert (*loves deserts* *_*"..).
These flags *pokes them* *_*.. how they show the soft breeze that is floating over the place, waii ^.^~!
Plus the shadow is nice done, it looks very realistic.
The text is also placed nice ^_^...

Wow Chibikko @_@ you make wonderful wallpapers. The backround is so nicely done, and it looks perfect with the image provided. The scan looks great with the feel it has. The butterfly and font look awesome, I'm surprised this doesn't have more faves :D! Keep up the awesome work Chibikko!

You're always making such high quality wallpapers because you hardly ever use any raw scans but do either a vector or even a whole colouring. I really appreciate the effort you're putting in your works.
The background looks very nice and the patterns over it look good because it makes the surfaces more realistic. Great composition btw too. -

I'm always to lazy to draw them.. :nya: the city behind looks great too.. mhmm.. maybe a little bit too gray.. Some colours on the houses would be better. Great job on the shading!! I love the stone-fence.. (is it a fence?? ^_^' can't find the right word to describe it..) anyway, the structure looks great, so stony.. XD and that butterfly.. XD XD XD I want to catch it... sorry, I know I shouldn't steal the freedom of animals... I've never written such a long comment... may I fave it? yes.. I'll do that because it is an excellent work^^

I really like the colors that you used and great job with the shadows. The angle of the floor of the bridge seems to be just a tad too much at a slant when compared to the angle of Rukia's feet, but it's not real noticable and where the flag poles meet the bridge rail seem to be just sitting on top of them. Maybe a shadow/hole for them to go in would add. Overall it's a really great wall that definately shows that you put time and effort into it. I really like the font and text as well. Nice placement and the butterfly is just a nice touch. It reminds me of the first episode where she shows up as a butterfly/moth. Great work.
