so, i was looking through scans one day and i saw this one. i loved the way it
looked to death because of the expression on shinn's face and the pose. the scan
just had so much potential ><
so, i decided to wall it. it was an ongoing thing for a few weeks, and i got
stuck. bugged taters for help and she told me i should try something, so i
did.
a lot of credit goes to her for this wall. especially when it comes to the text.
cause, we all know taters and her text xD
i'm pretty happy with the result. it doesn't top the escaflowne wall of last
week, but i like the dramatic feel it has.
and the quote on the wall is from a robert forst poem called "fire and
ice"
i'll post it here for you because this everyone could use a l ittle poetry
during the day. especially from robert frost, cause he's the MAN. (if you can't
tell, kalico has a secret passion for poetry and reads it in her spare
time...)
SOME say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what
I�ve
tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
yeah, so i'm sure you get the mood of the wall. it's a firey destructive
mess.
yes, it's busy. but...hello...destruction. if it wasn't busy and chaotic there
would be a problem.

Pretty wicked wall there, I like the assortment of destruction and fire that really set the tone for this. The only thing that I can see that could've used a bit of improvement was the fire in the foreground which could've been brought out more cause it seems too faint imo. Great stuff
The fire is really well done and the somewhat grainy effect blends nicely. THe destroyed building is awesome as with the text, but part of the text is just a little hard to read because fire is covering it, but thats ot a big issue. Great job on this wall +fav
n_n Nyah~ me likes it. But some of the flames look unrealistic. Duplicate+Grassuan Blur it took look more real... I think. -___-' Never tried making flames

I can just here the ending theme of the Gundam seed series and yea i can realte to the destruction and fire around the deadwood of earth...but not all of it is covered in despair and fire...theres still the dhadow of death and clouded eyes of hate...Anyway love the bg !
