Well, after a while without any wallpapers, I finally got inspired--not by a picture, but by some quotations I've been collecting. Two in particular seemed to fit one of my favorite villains, Sydney, of Vagrant Story, rather well, so I used them in the creation of this newest wallpaper, which is also meant to, in part, compliment my earlier wall: "Inverse." Brom-kun should be plenty happy that I've made a new wall XP.

These two quotes, in case you can't quite make them out, are:

Vae, puto deus fio (Woe is me--I think I am becoming a god) and

J'aime la majeste des souffrances humaines (I love the majesty of human suffering)

These quotations are taken from Emporer Vespasian of Rome, and Alfred de Vigny respectively.

I do hope you enjoy my newest work--I think I did rather well with this one.

EDIT 2: I fixed the typo, and played with the background. I went ahead and took Brom's suggestion, and changed the color scheme of the "Vagrant Story" text. Hope the edits only improve it XP

On a side note: DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE THUMBNAIL! It makes the lines I put in look very strong and ugly, but their actually very muted, and enhance, rather than detract, from the background. I think. But their muted in the large version! Muted!

It's nice, it reminds me of your Inverse wallpaper. I like it. Some things I'd like to mention though ...

I dont like the larger image of him, the behind-sort-of-blurry one. It has a lack of quality, and I personally dont think it fits. Maybe instead of using the pattern on the backround, do some grunging or something, I'd like to see some of that over what you have now. The font has the blue stuff on it which doesn't really match with the brown and darker backround, I say change that to a brownish then move it up alittle bit, so it's not so in the corner of the image. Overall it's nice work, I'm glad you could get back and make a wallpaper for us!

very nice texture there mak, the scheme you are trying to use is very nice, and I like the detail you put on his astro self. It is in good proportion to each other, and I like the inverse effect you do to the letters. very interesting wallie mak, I see you like to make people think in your wallies. :)

This comment will be for the edit, so yeah. The edit on the font looks good, it really blends with the backround now. All edits you made have made it look more improved :) so keep up the good work!

as i previously mentioed on the prior VS wall- i would have stuck with the inverted image.

i just feel it work better with oyur bg. im just not a big fan of doubles.. generallt speaking they clutter the canvas..

if you can get me a wall with the inverted villian let me know. :)
