This looks really awesome! I like how you did the wires, and how they connect to her. Excellent work! And on skin colors, just use tan like colors, not to mention light plays a part.
That looks v.nice... i like her hair and things... keep up the brilliant work! ^_^
Concerning your drawing: Hey this is cool. I am not so fond of cyber punk style but the drawing itself is very nicely done and definitely not horride. I never watched GITS though its story sounds interesting. Maybe I will do it when the opportunity comes.
Skin colour: I know this problem concerning pencils. There is always this problem with too yellow or too pink. I would recommend you to buy a skin-colour-pencil. It doesn't look like skin colour though but it is the nicest version of it.
My art teacher says that yellow, red and a even a bit blue create skin colour. I don't know about the blue but yellow and red may be right.
its a pretty nice work except for some perspective problems especially at the bottom half of the girl
I don't really know that much about masamune shirow's works since I don't see them often
but don't try to compare your work with them since its drawn by your materials~ someone may not be able to draw as good even if he is directly tracing over another picture
just keep training you will draw better ^^
about doing skin colours.. you could either buy specialized skin colouring pencils, crayons etc
or you could try testing with the colours you have.. on a roughpaper.. just colour lightly yellow and red.. test the different pressures of colouring to get best match and add other colours if need to too.. colour pencil colours don't literally mix but like how quite a number of printer work.. you can create lots of colours with just 4+ colours with each on different positions on a small square paper.. hope you can understand this =p
keep up the good work! ^^
i cant see it, ...pitty...but i think that is pretty as always!!
thank you all i must try these ways out thankies for the replies it always a pleasure ^_^
I just did a wall using the same scan that you drew *snikers*
Even if you think it's bad, the fact that you posted it knowing you need improvement says a lot. At least you are open to ideas and such, which is a great thing!
On skin colors....what medium are you talking about? If your talking about computer coloring then I could make a tutorial for you. If you're talking about colored pencils then that's a little harder. When it comes to colored pencils (prismacolor brand) it required many, many MANY light layers over each other to get the depth and shades you're looking for. My personal favorite are Copic markers. They are the same markers that the manga artist use to color their drawings. If you're interested in this technique, let me know.
ps: I'll post up a drawing I did using these markers later this week so keep an eye out on my userpage...later!
Nice drawing! ^^ I like the pose, it is very well done
and how
you did the cables. Good work! Keep it up. ^^
It's not bad, just needs more detail. Like Lady Evanrued, I like hopw you have the wires connected also ^uu^. Excellent work and keep improving
.
It's really nice work, when compared to the original drawing. I like the wires and teh guns and the shade. Her pose is really nice but the only thing that bothers me is that her body is a lil saggy. I have nothing against that but she's suppose to be slim because she's a robot and stuff. Other than that, nice drawing. You keep getting better~ ^_^
Oh, great work!! My friend loves that image a lot! Maybe I should draw it for her ^_^
I hope I
can helped a bit... but skin colored pencils are the best! I have two of them, a
normal and a pastel one
Skin color... well, when I don't have my special skin-colored pencil with me I usually use orange. But it has to be veeery light!
Your character looks great!! The pose look beautiful. =^____^= you are very talented artist. ^__^ Keep it up. I am always looking forward to see great artworks.
Not the best but hey you tried and actually I think that it is very cood for fanart... keep trying you are a great artist
It's good enough already ^^
i cannot even draw an anime character's face -.-
