Niceee one here! I love the dark theme and the idea that there's like a bottomless pit over that balcony........Great job on the background! It's dark and simple........I love it! Thanks for sharing this to us! Keep it up! +fav

    Hey ryannzha!

I love the world you have created for Lain - kinda suits her from what I have seen of the anime! And I'm liking this whole mysterious secret thing going on - there is something behind this wallpaper - it speaks a thousand words that we must discover!!

I like the textures you have used for the wall, and the way you've shaded it and used shadows has really edged it off nicely. The floor beneath lain is a much brighter colour - which is nice, because it helps to stop the wallpaper from being just too dark.

I think the best touches to this wallpaper are all the little hidden meanings you have put in - like the conspiracy part on the fence, and the writing in the sky. Very cool, I do wish I could totally understand it, but maybe I should finish watching the series!!

The blurryness of the clouds makes it quite realistic, and almost helps to shadow over the secret that lies beneath. It's a great idea to the context, it really helps to show that there is a cover up, that there is something there that should not be there. It helps to give lots of ideas to the viewers!!

The little city is nice, although very dark, I think this is a good idea because you don't want to fully reveal such images - especially when the whole theme is about something being hidden away. It helps to put things more in perspective. The writing and font you used throughout is nice, and adds a little bit of childish charm - like it is a game.

Overall, great context and idea, yes it is a little dark, but for such an idea I don't believe it is necessary tochange it. Any thoughts for changing it? Nope...it certainly is a special wallpaper ^^

    Thank you for submitting it,
    Stolen-chan

This one I don't like as much as some of your others... It seems a bit plain to me... Maybe it's because this one isn't quite as colorful as your other walls... The person sitting on the rail is looking at something in the background but there's not really anything in the background to look at...
I always love the small details you put into your walls. I like how this one has the writing in the sky and the word "conspiracy" on the bridge. Iv'e never seen Serial Experiments Lain before but the small touches you always put in make the walls have a much deeper meaning than just what the image contains...
    Great job, ryannzha!

Great wall for the series. Like other have said, I love how you have Lain looking over her shoulder and out at the emptiness beyond the fence. Nice touch on the text, too. I like how some of the letters are reversed. Great wall all over.

    Wow, Ryannzha,
You really have grow so much since I've seen you. You not only have grown in skill but also in originality. The color scheme reminds me of a gritty, grainy film that has been turned brownish yellow due to abuse and time. It really gives a dark feeling when looking at it.

The rendering of the ground and railing is expecially exceptional. The details and the manner in which you created them are not so strong as to draw attention away from the main image but just detailed enough that afer absorbing your wall the first time, I have to go back and re-examine everything else. The lighting effects are also top notch. Although there is no "hot spot" relaying where the actualy light source is, the viewer still knows where the general direction of the light source.

ok, here are some humble suggestions that you might wanna try. I really like this wall. The feeling it gives off is a little moody but in a good way. I think you can add more to the moon by shading the charaters also. Shade him according to where you have the light source coming from. I mean there is shading on the pic but work on the areas of the face and the shoulders. They seem a little too bright. As long as it's consistant with the railing and ground. I think another great detail you could add would be a city in the BG. Not necessarily a cityscape where you see buildings but the lights. You know, when you look down on a city from a mountain top at night. All you can see are the lights twinkling. Something like that.

Sorry for the loooong post. I only meant to give you some comments but I was moved by you constant efforts to improve your self and your work. I see all the stuff you but out there so know that your work is very recognized and appreciated. Thanks!

dark and moody, veri nice wallie ^_^ i especially luv the conspiracy word written in blood, thats hawt X) well i think the above is bit empty and the character is a bit too small. still, a veri good wall, so favvie~! =^^=

    Whoa, awsome job here @_@
i love the effects and I like the background. It really captures what the anime is all about. Just the scan, looks a little off, that the only real thing you should change. But everything else goes great together. I love the lettering!
    Awsome job!

It's a very nice wallpaper. I like the effects on the ground and the railing.
The background seems a little bit empty... Other than that, it looks very nice.
Keep up the good work!! ^__^

she looks so alone and very depressive
that is how i feel in this days the same i feel in my heart

  17. ZKyoy Apr 20, 2005

she kinda looks innocent. hahahah, ironic, considering maybe she worte down 'conspiracy' with her own blood. it's a very good wall, especially the bit where some of the words are unreadable. very cool, it's dark and mysterious. i had fun reading the slightly unreadable text. hehehe. ^____^
