a wall inspired by crapmonster's latest NIN wall.. and dedicated to him.
I used some nin artwork for texturing and stuff... anyway... I tried to get a melancholic mood, almost drifting from the present... not as much into past or future.. but into a dual reality.
Haven't you felt sometimes that you are not aware of your physical existence... that's the feeling I was going for...

I kind of agree a bit with Shadowdude. It's a bit blurred though the contrast between the sides gives it a rather cool look. Hmm.....perhaps there is too much white in it? It looks nice though and the textures aren't overused...I like that. Good work.

Seriously though, very nice wall with a display of great technique. The execution of this wall almost seems flawless. I sure have a tough fight ahead of me. The faces of the doll/baby is totally creepy. Fits your new image (avatar) well. We are all seeing DC changing before our eyes. I think the the best technique is probably the one done on the text. I was commenting on a few of crapmonsters walls and was talking about text treatment. This is a prime example. Although not too flashy or overdone, it not only stands as an individual component but also aids in incorporating everything into one cohesive wall.
