What a stupid reason to delete your last wallpaper. How many favorites did it get ? If it's over 10, then you are a greedy fave monster. Just be happy with what you get. For this wallpaper, atleast credit where you got the PSD/scan from... http://ningen.nattoli.net ? Anyway. The brushing is simple, it looks nice. The swirls are kind of dull and too bright for the characters though, maybe make the characters colors brighter, then they'd blend more. But still, the scan doesn't go with the backround at all. The girl has blonde hair, and the other has brown, which again doesn't help them blend into the backround. I suggest putting a color overlay on the girls, with a color selected from the backround. And throw some sparkles on them to get them to blend in better. The main problem, as I mentioned before, is the girls dont blend, just work on that and it might turn out better. If it doesn't, I'm sorry.

nice job on the bg samanosuke, the colors looks real nice. my only gripe is that the scan doesnt really match the bg and stands out a bit too much. other than that, you still did an awesome job!

overall i like it, the bg grabs me and is very effective. dunno about the scan, probably not wat i would have chosen but it is nice and suits it in many ways. very cute.
