Heey. Been awhile since I did scenic, hm? Well I'm tired, and I wan't to sleep. But first the description... I found this scan 2 days ago, and I loved it! I wanted to do something soft and easy on the eyes *Don't know if I pulled that off, I had a hard time messing with the colors.*. I forget what section I got the scan from... I know, pathetic ~~' Thank you to all of the people in the IRC for telling me what's wrong and right *Tama-neko, Madwiz, and Sammo <3<3*.

This wallie is so different but in a striking way, caught my attention :D
Nice colors you used and they match the scan very well.
I like the simplistic style that sort of looks like it's done with old calligraphy brushes.

I've said it elsewhere, but I like this one quite a bit. Even more than the Rozen Maiden one, in fact. Not quite sure how you did the background, but I love it--extremely stylish, I think. Not much else to say than what I already have, except plus fav.

You say you had a hard time with the colors but apparently your hard work payed off. The colors are warm enough to imply a summer sunset. It's warm enough to keep the viewer busy but not have their eye racing all over. The scan was a great choice and the texture you applied gives it a rustic look....almost like those old japanese scroll paintings. I really like this wall. The only thing that kinda bugs (me being picky) is the text. I kinda wish the kanji and the english text were aligned (centered to each other). When it's off like that it almost looks like a mistake.
This is my current fav wall so you've now become my current desktop wall! :)

Very interesting wallpaper, Bromithia.
While I might enjoy the clouds in the corners, and the trees that you designed by yourself - looking very nice and promising, as always, I didn't really find the hills quite so impressive, which is the major downfall for me over here. It seems kind of so-so towards me. However, I cannot really critique a wall that looks like it is well drawn because everything seems to be built from scratch then and there, and I can sense it is very tough to build these sort of walls from start to end, into the finished product it is shown as of today. I'll have to agree on that one, and you deserve props for a job well done.
Saturation on the clouds - phenomenal. The scan - fantastic extracting, nonetheless. I could call it a vector-finique. lol - Sticking with the theme, I also liked the way you made the orange grass on the ground. Through and through, I personally think it is a good wallpaper, and not one I normally would comment on, but after seeing a lot of effort put into this wall, and the way you approached the scenic theme, maybe it does deserve a second look from others as well.
Just a little visual demonstration of pretty cool wallpapers to look at, nonetheless. Anyways, nothing more can be said. It's nice to have a different theme of wallpapers to look at, of course. Neat work.

Yes, the colors in the background are kind of bright, but I like how everything looks so stylized. Great wall!
