Hey nice wallie, the grid lines up very nicely, it is in perspective in realtion to your wallie. The color is nice and clean, and the texture is just wonderful. I really like your blending, even the shadow looks in sequence with Kenshin. nice job, Scarlet. :)

I really love Kenshin. Though I have to admit I never saw the anime. Read and re-read the mangas many times... and saw the OAV's.
But that doesn't prevent me from adoring Kenshin, right?^^
There's no inscription on the wallpaper because it didn't seem to fit anywhere. Maybe it's better this way... It looks more natural.
Himura Kenshin comes from a scan I found in the male scans section and the shadow of Battousai behind him is from somewhere else but I can't remember where. It was a pretty bad scan, actually, very pixelized and not big enough... but it was perfect since I was going to use it as a faded and blurred shadow anyway!
The most boring part was the grid thing. It annoys me to do things that keep repeating themselves... but they have to be done too, no?

I totally agree with you there my friend! My favorite anime of all time is Rurouni Kenshin! This is a nice wallpaper and I like the idea of putting his battousai part as his shadow...Great job!

Oh wow, a Kenshin wall (oh, i didn't like the anime version so much, but the OAV's and mangas rock ^^)
i love the concept of this wall... and the colors you chose fit really well with the mood...the leaves are a nice touch as well... too bad Jpeg killed it :\ anyways, great wall!

I've seen a lot of wallpapers portraying Kenshin's past as Battousai. The shadow thing is not a new concept, but it is gracefully done in this wall. The screen was also very original.
