This wall took me about a day to finish because of my mistake in not correcting the resolution (it's a 180 not 72) so it keeps crashing my computer and I have to restart again. It's very frustrating and this time it didn't crash my comp but I still forget to change the resolution size to 72 and it's still 180. But at least it's done. Over 26 layers were used in making this wallpaper.
At first the title was supposed to be Reach for the stars and the image of Lacus wasn't right for the title and saw that she was singing and changed it to Ode To The Universe as in Beethoven's Ode To Joy. So the title fit in well enough and also she was supposed to be holding a glowing ball but it didn't feel right so I gave her a tattoo on her arm ( not much of a work, ain't it? :D ). Well that's all for now.

Hmmm, nice, but seems to be missing something...
The lettering is too big!! And the background is nice, but a little too repatative... A more spacly background would have captured everyone more. But wow, I love the moon!!

I love the bg so much. It's so pretty and really shows that her voice can reach the farthest regions of space. I love Lacus and it's really rare to see a GS wallie from you. ^_^ Awesome stuff!

What attracts me most to this wall is the composition. The girl is all the way to the right and partly off the page. The best technique used in this wall is where she faces inward and even points (gestures....whatever :P ) towards the inside also. This keeps the viewers eyes within the wall and not flying off the page.
The color scheme also fits well since you used colors from the character. This ties everything into one another. My biggest complaint is the font. The curise font and its treatment are ok. The serifed font and its treatment is also ok. Now the two together don't seem to fit. Not only are they not aligned but the styles clash. Personally, I think you should stick with the cursive one, or at least pick another font that is also cursive. This style adds to the mystical and elegent feel of this wall. Hope these suggestions help somewhat. :)
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the scan was a great choice. I really love the detail in it!
