Ahh i don't like two things about this wallie. The extraction - the character's edges are very jagged and her hair are chopped in some places. Second the resolution if it were bigger (1280x960 or 1280x1024 maybe?) i's set it for my desktop. Why? Because it's design is georgeous the scan used is uber nice and you managed to highlight it through very good usage of colours and great bg composition. Even using the image in the bg looks great (i don't like such things usualy) and gives a nice feel to the whole wallie. The pattern in the lower-left corner adds a lot of definition to the beckground and the vivid black highlight the character. A great wallie, with few minor mancaments but i like it a lot. Keep it up,can't wait for your next wallie. See you till then :).

This has a nice idea to it.
My major recommendation it to do a better extraction of the scan. It's kinda messed up in full view because it's edges show and some parts are missing. :(
I hope that helps you because you have something going here, it just needs to be brought up a couple of quality levels! ^_^

Good back ground, like the way you put it together. Though the extraction of the scan (especially the hair) could be done better.
