Woot! Third wallpaper!Ok first off I really didn't know how I came up with the idea. I was planning to make a dark wallpaper (possibily featuring starfields etc) and I ended up doing this, lol XD... prolly because when I saw the scan of this girl from Samurai Spirits I thought "Damn I MUST MAKE A WALL for her" so there it is ;).

So here we go, a very foggy wallpaper settled in a sort of wood, the girl is looking for her prey but at the same time she might be the prey of someone else *coughWolfOnTheLeftcough* :). I basically brushed everything besides of course the girl (which comes from a scan I found here at MT), the big tree on the left, which I manipulated with some cell-shading, and the wolf, cell-shaded as well. :)

Enjoy!

Hey Shinn-kun!! That's a really nice wallie! Maybe the wolf could be her friend?? Lol me and my wanting everything and everyone to be friends lol. It's very pretty and gives off a tranquil feel. I love it love it love it!! I'm gonna try to make some wallpaper. Have any tips? Anything at all is good, it doesn't matter if it isn't a lot. Well, I'll talk to you later!!

Wow, quite impressive, the only tiny critiqe I have is there is a tiny bright border around the scan, it is very easy to miss, but on the other hand it does show just how tight you cut the extraction, very good! +fav

yup! i have to agree with everyone else. the serene feeling of the wall does make it a peaceful hunt. i think it's because of the fog. [although, when the hunt begins, i'm afriad see a lot of bloodshed coming our way]

First of all I'd like to say that this is just a great idea :o I like the hole concept. Just one little detail besides the bright border outlining the scan, I think that the scan is a bit too small... perhaps that is just my taste... or maybe I'm just used to larger scans but other than my tastes or perceptions, a larger size in the scan would help the perspective a lot, for me the size of the wolf doesn't seem to match with hers since the wolf seems to be the one who is really doing the hunting :nya:
That being said I also wish to add that I enjoy very much the fact that you are trying to tell something with your wall by capturing a moment of something that is happening, really nice overall ;)
By the way I also liked very much the mist that you have created

I'm not sure what it is but I love the look and feel of this particular wallpaper. It's something that appears appropriate for the character being portrayed. The mists aid in making it more surreal and mystical on a whole, without taking too much away from the actual piece.

On a side note, I agree with a previous poster on the image of Mina being a tad bit on the small side. It's as if you tried to capture a bit too much. The wolf is a nice touch but seems out of place in this particular setting.

You're very good to create trees (really better than me lol). Beautiful wall (as usual). There's just a little thing I dislike on this wall, it's the wolf but it's just a personnal preference :) The design under the title is great too
