I started on this the other day, and finished it today. It was a simple idea I had between the 7 commissions I am doing as of now. It is shaded. Some areas were lightly shaded, and my scanner did not pick those specific areas up, so some places may seem white or plain, but they arent. My favorite aspect about this one, I would have to say is the hat. I love how striking it is. I just like the tone so much in it. Hope you all like.

aww very nice doujin evanrued! great works >_< i'd love to see you incorporate a background, preferably a field with flowers, petals in the wind theme ^_^

  5. studio Mar 09, 2005

Oh she's sweet. Looks wonderfully windy, :D the hat is a nice touch.
I have to agree with bel, it'll look even better with a background. Something warm and grassy. :D
    Well done.

I am pretty impressed by the amount of details you put into the dress and basket of flowers and as well as her hat(*wow*). It looks beautiful altogether!

i really love the pose and the "wind" in this drawing :D
    very nice shading too...
Would be really great with some background... but I shouldn't say that because I'm usually too lazy to draw bg's myself XD
anyhoo, very well done... definitely a fav ^.~

The way I see her is that she looks so elegant. I think you draw her very well again, and it looks so nice with the graphite pencil.

You're right - the hat really is great.

Even though it didn't capture the shading the way you wanted, it still looks extremely good. I like the detail in the outfit, and the basket.

  15. pegassuss Mar 09, 2005

Wow! Nice work!^^ I like the shading, even if your scanner didn't pick it well, it's great! ^^ I also like the hat and the dress, and the pose and the basket and the plaits... well everything! the details are very good ^^ The only thing I can see is the nose... maybe it's a little off place... but it is really a lovely piece of art. Hope to see more!^^

  16. XavierCrow Mar 10, 2005

Yeah, I like this. The clothing is well done and the hat really helps the effect of the wind. The basket and body position are actually what I find most attractive about this piece. Shading is, as usual with you, very good. It's not too heavy, which helps the sunny theme carry across. well done, I love to see original art. It's so refreshing! :)

^^~ she's so cute! although, u didn't draw any BG but i think i can feel the blue sky & warmth of sunlight by ur shadow, greenish-yellow grassland by ur sun that i feel & other color of flowers behind, the wind that i can feel by her hair & ribbon on her hat that u make it flow in the air ~^^~ great work!

The drawing is great :D!! The girl is super cute, I like her dress, epseically the sun hat, and the sunflowers look good. You did an excellent job on the shading and the adding detail to it, looks very clean and near-flawless in all perspectives for a drawing.Simply put, I luv this drawing ^uu^. Marvelous job Lady Evanrued ^_^

  21. FlowerDog Mar 12, 2005

Simple idea...it takes me forever to come up with a beautiful idea like yours. (Though I might never have the chance to come up with a beautiful idea anyways. XD ) Love the shading and pose of the character. This is indeed very creative. I love it! Keep it up Evanrued-sama! ^_^

  22. Mew-Hawk Mar 14, 2005

Cool drawing. Like it. you can feel the wind XD.
By The Way, How long it took to you to do it? ;o

  23. walkure245 Mar 14, 2005

I like the perspective too. ^.^ It gives a sort of sweet charm that you rarely see. I'm kind of unsure where her hands end. The soft shading is nice and love the basket of flowers. Wonderful drawing as always~
