Sometimes people ask me why I am absolutely crazy about Yoshitaka Amano's art. I tell them that he is one of the few artists here who can draw things that are fascinating even if they are 'ugly'. But the real point is that when draws couples, women, children, fairies etc. they are not 'cute' or 'kawaii' but simply beautiful.
I only found this scan with the recent wallpaper on it... this artwork is so beautiful...
