First I wanted to use the background for a drawing.. but it became a
wallpaper... ^^"
The background was really difficult.. first the photo and then the street, the
sky and these lights around the girls... -.- They took me a lot of time... it is
the first time that I think, the photo does not look like a real photo..
^^

a stockphoto yuck xD the perspective is a bit unlogical though overall it looks very nice with the scan. but i'd remove that pattern... anyways pretty idea

The natrual scene you were going for isn't too shabby although there are a few things that imo could use some fixing. The road probably should be rotated more so that it lines up better with the characaters to give the wall the right perspective. The wall, while it certainly looks like it fits, looks a bit odd being faded at the top. Lastly the grass texture doesn't seem all that natural, might want to use some thin brushes for that. Besides that, great work. Keep it up!

Wow - so cute! This is a wonderful wall you have over here, and definitely a new approach to the photo style. I love the way it kind of fades around the corners, and the sides, and the nature background you used seemed to blend in very well perfectly. I have to say - nice going, and keep it up.
