first of all, thanks to odiya for sharing his scan, abarai renji and manga-rain for their scanlations of bleach (pic
used from bleach vol.17 chap 143 - 02)
and a zillion thanks to [url="http://imanimetions.net/main.php"].:::. Virtual Ecosystem Dues .:::.[/url] for
it's awesome tutorials (i rely on this page way too much ^_^' )
the background was the hardest to get right -_-
some parts were too dark and others too bright at first, had to redo some part over too >.<
but i think the most fun part of doing this wall was the extraction o.O;
lol i know lots of people would disagree with me but getting to see renji up close is so cool

Ooh~ a wallie by CoolBlueX! XD Hehehe~ something different and nice to see. ;)
Good idea with using the black Outer Glow to make his figure stand out - it works very well (ooh.. maybe try adding it to the bar on the left, too? ^_^' i nearly didn't notice it at first).
Most of all, I'd recommend changing the (overlaid?) Stroke around him. ^_^' It clashes with the Outer Glow of the text, and makes Renji look cut-out (2D?).. and a bit choppy. Maybe change it to Outer Glow instead? (have a duplicated layer of his figure behind for the black Outer Glow.. if that makes any sense).
Hm.. and maybe try duplicating Renji's figure again, and using an Overlay blending mode or something...er.. how to say? His colours are competing badly with the background's strong red and orange (the way it always happens with manga art on bold backgrounds). ^_^'
But anyways! XD Enough of my waffle. You've definitely got the fiery theme across well, hehe~ XD I think I'll really like this guy when I read up to him, fufufu~<3 (nya.. if any of that didn't make sense, just poke me ^_^'). Cya around, cbx!

nice firey presentation on the bg, and the mood fits Renji nicely. The blending does seem a bit off between the character and the bg, but I like your effort. :)

oohhh baby, that's my Renji *gnaw* though the red background doesn't do it for me, exciting as it is ^^;;; perhaps a more graphic design would suit better? I dunno x.o

Hehe, I love this guy, he's one of my favorite in the series. :D It would have been nicer if the background red could have matched his hair color better, but it's still a nice wall. ^_^
