You've got some great source material here. It's a fairly unique portrait of Rei (I don't recognize it) and it's got a nice sketchy style to it that makes it feel fresh. The colored lighting is good; the blank area on the right is okay, too (a place to put icons?). I'm undecided on the elliptical lighting effects in the background. But what is that ribbon/strip coming down from her hair on her left side? It looks like part of the scan rather than the background, but I can't figure out what it is or what purpose it serves.

An ace pic. With the colours, 'Euphoric' comes to mind for some reason. Also, the face of Rei here seems a lot younger than the Rei in the series, much softer.

Wow, very pretty wallpaper. I love all the colors in the background, you did a wonderful job of choosing the tones, and that scan of Rei looks amazing. She looks so sweet and innocent...which are two things she certainly isn't (well, that could just be my opinion of her). But, yeah, great job with this.

I'm not too keen icon area/shapes on the right, could possibly better without (?) or at least less noticable by making it smaller or out of focus. Otherwise besides that it's awesome wallpaper, great stuff.
