First off, I did not scanned this; I just took the scan from http://tensai.zkoot.de/ and cleaned it. Therefore, all credits should go to the scanner at http://tensai.zkoot.de/ and the artwork's original author.
So... what I did with the scan should be pretty obvious: removed the line in the middle of the scan and cleaned the pixels up. You might also noticed that the color of the grass and trees in the background are somewhat different from the original... that's because I did some layering, blurs, and coloring... It shouldn't be much of a problem though since the point of the scan is for those creative artists out there to extract the characters and make something interesting... If you, for some reason, prefers the original or want to clean it yourself, be my guest and visit the link mentioned above.
Have fun and enjoy the series, I personally thought it was really touching. The music is awesome as well!

this is not the anime series name... it's from the akane maniax ova's this series... ^^
Oh? I am not sure then, I just recognized Akane which looks identical to the one in Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien... Whether or not it was her or that it was her in another series etc etc is out of my knownledge zone... if I got the series name wrong, gomenasai^^ (But soooooo many Japanese anime chars look alike...)
Nice Akane scan! Its a bit too bright with the background being yellowish.
The girl in the back reminds me of a character in Love Hina.
