Some decaying texture used with a lot of merging and layers of color. I hope I
got the effect of disolving, decaying, destructive rusty look...
Back to the dark ages... enough with the clean looks of scenery... lol

Looks great denier. The grunge textures give the wall that old and worn out appearance only thing that could probably use is the text like techno mentioned. Enlarge it more and darken the color.
The way you turned this peacful scan into a n image of decay is frightening.... great grunge, i wouldn't expect something like that done from that image. On the othr hand Yoshitoshi Abe's works are perfect for this kind of work, and haibane with all it's hidden darkness and sorrow is even moe then apropriate. Like we all have our inner deamons, unseen from the outside and just in the moments of weakness they glimpse for a while in yhe corner of our eye, making us decay... ripe with it... These are the first impresions of mine. I guess the whole image could have been a bit darker (not in mood, just in brightness) other than that its really neat.

when i first viewed this wall at its full resolution i was immediately drawn to the background. although yellow appears to be a light color for such a grunge wall. i really like how it turned out.

indeed Haibane Renmei is a quite nice piece of art. However for me You`ve rotten this pic too much which took the delicate part of the whole picture... i would give it 6/10 becouse of it. However i love the idea [like every1 one yours!] and the overall note is 8/10. For future if You are making a "whole scan wall" try to secure what it has to say by original.. however this is my goal. Iam trying to help ^^ always with ya Dernier! Peace ^^b

This is the second version of this scan changed into wallpaper and I have to admit that it's much more interesting. It's quite curious that you used yellow to show something as morbid as decay. It's definitely my favourite.
