This came out great, especially if you did this freehand, as you said. The background kind of reminds me of the Windows XP default wallpaper ^^.

This has to be my first wallpaper where I used no filters what so ever. I just used the good mouse and lots of Ctrl + Alt + Z. =P I was beating myself down pretty hard when I started making the wallpaper thinking it's not going to look good at all, however it turned out way better than what I expected. The perspectives on the hills and mountains might be a bit off....meh I'm still happy on how it came out.
Anyways...Elfen Lied is a good anime but a bit too many heads and limbs flying off all over the place, hehe. What we have here is something just the opposite of that. A nice serene and peaceful background with Mayu playing with her puppy.

It seems like you've got a couple different styles going in this piece. In the background, you've got some van Gogh-esque paint swirls and in the foreground you're using some fine detail brushes. The two just seem to clash; maybe try something different. ^_^' The wall certainly doesn't look bad, but I think it could also be improved.

Marvelous landscape you made there, Wandering_Youth! XD Feels almost like it's painted on canvas! The sky, clouds, mountains, and fields as well as flowers bloom with originality! Although the Elfen Leid scan seems out of place, perhaps you should've blended the grass with her to make it look like she's kneeling on the grass! Just a suggestion, still an awesome wall! Must fav, must fav! ^_^'

A nice, happy wallpaper with no violence, and yet it's got an Elfen Lied character. Quite amusing. Plus, it's a nice, bright wallpaper that feels warm too.
