i really like this picture. i like the idea you are presenting with vivi wearing a mask. did you do this with colored pencil? if so i'm so jealous, i was never good at colored pencil, so i really give you props for that, and even if you didn't use colored pencil it looks like it was drawn in colored pencil so still props. your lines are really confident and i really enjoy the definite outline of the character. the only critique i can give is the hat seems to not lay right on vivi's head. but really. thanks for posting.

Thank you for your comment, and the favorite. Yes, I did use colored pencil. I rarely use traditional mediums, but when I do I usually choose colored pencil. It's just so easy for me to manipulate.

I agree with smilebit about the idea behind it and the colored pencils. I never was good with them, but I'm pretty good with watercolor pencils. I like the shading, blending, and contours in the pic. Very nice!

I agree with you, I always think Vivi swear mask, I can image Vivi's face but my draw isn't good enough to draw his face
