More life problems and frustrations to deal with ... my life has been chaotic for the last 4 months and still is due to a massive pile-up of one thing after the other XD . Thus, no wallpapers produced for long periods of time. Enough of that though, unto the wallpaper:
Wallpaper features a similar BG technique used in my "Light of the Goldfish" wall. Light streams or "wavelengths" are flowing out from the two characters surrounded by sparkles ... because they are the source of the light due to their kindness ... or at least that is the story I came up with, thus called it "Amiable Wavelenghts".
Coloring theme is that of red fading unto purple. The red and blue colors apparent in the background were chosen to fit the coloring of the elf and maid's outfits. I found the image of these two on Minitokyo under the Carnelian section and felt like I should try to do something with them ... they were too cute to pass up :) . Oh and full-view looks way better ...mmm... detailed sparklage.
Next wall will be created ... maybe sometime in the future. Stress stinks ... arrid works XD. Enjoy it or something XD .

Whoa~boy. XD What am I supposed to say? Even when pressed in life, you do a painstakingly good job - I'm extremely impressed that I know we'll never see a trash 'filler' wall-just-to-let-off-steam coming from you. :)
Admittedly, I don't look through the Carnelian gallery - ^_^' these kindsa girls aren't quite my cup of tea - so I've no idea what kind of background they were on. But flawless extraction in any case. Very sharp and accurate... ahh. Though I'd recommend trying out maybe a tiny amount of dark outer glow? They sit 'on top' of the bg just a little too much, I think. XD It's too... clean (yeesh.. that sounds like a weird crit ^_^' sorry i'm not making more sense..). Detached is a better word? Because the waves in the back are a little 'blurred'. And that's such a clean scan. Ahh~ I shouldn't type at 6am when I haven't slept yet <lol>! XD
Love the colours, too. :) I'm a sucker for abstractish stuff with gradients, hehe~<3 And you deliver it well. Great attention to detail as usual... very pretty sparkles. ^_^' Zomg, vocab down the drain *rofl* I'm sorry - will come back after I retrieve my brain.. Anyways! Lovely eye-candy wall. ;) And best of luck with everything. I sincerely hope it works out as well as your walls do.
