Nice garden, the details is beautiful, the girl blended nicely with the environment. It is a very wonderful narrtive of her sadness as well as beauty. :) good job.

I found this really elegant KGNE picture over at 0chan. My search for scans has made me go over a hundred pages until I found this. I just loved her expression. I had to do a little retouching here and there (original had text over her dress) then I based the BG from My HiME. The garden where the Director usually hangs out? That one. I have a scan of it which I got from MT. Notice that dome thing behind? I copied it from there too.
Almost everything was painted from scratch. I got a comment from someone who said that I loved brushing a lot >_>;; I used a variety brushes to make each element. The flower arches was a LOT of fun to make. Everything sums up to over 14 hours of work, 80+ layers compiled in 10 folders, and a lot of saving (my computer kept on crashing...u__u)

the effort used to make this wall....really shows
....even the minute details r noticeable..... such as the.... white fluffly spores getting smaller from the distance,....the flower arches making a shadow over the walkways.....and the walkway......being covered wit leaves.....I also like the fact that.....all ur trees r different
none of them was copied n pasted, and if they were....well u did a good j0b of hiding it >xP~the only problem is......her.....hair. its hard cleaning up things with different shades of color.....and I usually....skip that too lol....@_@......
and also.....the clouds....you shoulda made it get smaller as it approaches the horizon....XP~anyway....tis really aint my type of wall.....but........still looks nice to me >xD~

OMG Shinta it's so pretty. >.< Your render with brushed is just excellent. I love how you did not just used the brushes here and there because you also shadowed them. The only thing I find weird is the part below the flower arches. @_@ Is that a path? A river? XD

waw ... this is an eyecatcher . I could look at this hours long :) it is really beautiful ... what amazes me is the scenery you have made. So this is all drawed from scratch ; i already know you were good but you become outstanding :D the sole thing that bothers me a little is that the girl's dress is glowing a lot ^^. But anyways , the whole pic is wonderful. Superb

Never ceases to amaze, ne, Shinta? The whole theme is so fitting to the character and the elements of the whole wall. The retouch looks fine. Bg too has nice colors. My only beef is the text but taht is personal preference. ^_^ Nice as always.
