60 layers, 3 days (2-3hrs for each day). It's my first Chikage wallpaper!^_^ I actually don't know what Sister Princess is all about but I think the art is so good that I love using them for wallpapers. I've seen some wall this scan and here's MY version.^^;;
**5 layers were used for the basic blue sky with self-made clouds alone. I added 3-4 more layers for the different colors of the sky.^^;; The islands are self-made as well. But I think I still need more work with the islands.>< The ocean/sea was made with the use of Shinta's tutorial and my style. Clouds are purely mine.^^;; Half of the star field tutorial of Greg Martin was used to make the star field. I also CONSTRUCTED a the tip of her thumb because in the scan I used it was cut.>< And the hair too.. The butterflies are part of the scan.^^;;

Wow I like the way you reconstructed her thumb tip :) very nice work. I love the pure blue colours of the sky as well, I know you made it out of many layers, so this probably helped to deepen the colours and help them blend in :) beautiful!
I think the islands could be improved a little bit, but if you give them too much detail, then it may not be worth the time and effort, as I don't think they really grab the attention anyway, so you probably saved yourself some time and effort.
The scan was pretty, although for my personal tastes I don't usually like big big scans, but this is good in what you are trying to do. Certainly attracts the eye before you notice the rest of the work done
I love the lines of stars surrounding her, because it isn't over the top, kept sweet, small and simple...this just helps to add a little extra detail. You must have worked hard on this :)

Very nice use of pastel colors! The blending is very unique.. I love the starfield effect! .. The text is very elegant and portrays Chikage's personality very nicely~ ^^ .. imo.. the outline looks a little strange.. and somewhat jagged.. compared to the softness of the rest of the wall.. but that's just me.. ^^;;
